Parents, please mark your calendars for upcoming ACAP State Testing dates. We want all students to be prepared and successful!
🗓 Math ACAP: March 23–24
🗓 ELA ACAP: March 25, 26, 30, & 31
🗓 Science ACAP: April 1
Please help your child do their best by:
✅ Making sure they are well rested
✅ Arriving to school on time
✅ Avoiding appointments on testing days
✅ Ensuring phones are secured in Yondr pouches or stored in the lock box upon arrival
Your support helps us create the best possible testing environment for our students.
Thank you so much for partnering with us! 🐾
Let's Go Wildcats!

To help create a successful testing environment during ACAP, we are asking for donations of a few small items that help our students stay focused, comfortable, and ready to do their best!
Requested items:
🍬 Mints / peppermint candies
🧴 Hand sanitizer (bottled gel)
🤧 Tissue boxes
These items will help us keep clean hands, clear noses, and sharp minds during testing days!
Parents may drop off donations in the front office at any time.
Thank you so much for supporting our students and helping them grow! 🌟📚

LMS students can show their spirit by celebrating one of our original school colors — GREEN!
Green was part of our school tradition many years before Crimson and Gold, so let’s bring it back for the day!
On March 17, students may:
✅ Purchase St. Patrick’s Day themed snacks during P.E. in the gym
✅ Pay $2 to wear a green shirt (uniform pants still required)
All proceeds will help support our 2026–2027 Cheerleaders.
Thank you for helping our students have fun while supporting a great group

Thanks to his hard work in securing a $4,000.00 grant from HII’s #IngallsShipbuilding, our STEM students at Lott are reaping the benefits! Mr. Wilson’s classes will be receiving a classroom set of ChompSaws and Makedo Invent Kits, giving our students hands-on tools to expand their creative thinking as they design and develop prototypes through the We Build It Better program.
Out of more than 1,000 applications, our Wildcats were selected as one of only 15 schools and educational programs across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama to receive funding through the Ingalls Future Shipbuilders STEM Grant.
What an incredible opportunity for our students—and a well-deserved recognition of Mr. Wilson’s dedication to STEM education! ❤️💛🐾
